Service Description

Learn the basics of preserving your summer garden harvest, from salsa to pressure canning green beans. All canning methods and safety recommendations will be discussed, participants will experience a hands' on class and make their own jar of pressure canned vegetables to take home. Class will be held in the Kitchen at St John's Church in downtown Charleston, on Thursday July 16th from 6-8 PM. There is free off street parking for class participants. All materials will be provided, but remember to bring a box or insulated bag to take your hot jars home with you. The cost is $25 per person, payable by credit card online or cash/check at the door. Group discounts are available by messaging Chef Rebecca.
